Emergency Healthcare Inside the Camps
Since the beginning of the war in 2023, UDRF — in collaboration with partner medical teams — established the Medical Tent initiative to serve as a frontline point for urgent healthcare inside displacement camps, where access to hospitals and medical centers has become extremely difficult.
The tent was created to fill a critical gap in medical services and to provide essential care for displaced families, especially children, women, and the elderly, amid severe humanitarian conditions.
Services Provided by the Medical Tent
The Medical Tent delivers a range of vital health and humanitarian services, including:
- General medical check-ups for adults and children
- Pediatric examinations and infant health monitoring
- Vital signs assessment and chest examinations
- Provision of essential medications free of charge
- Primary treatment and first aid services
- Medical consultations and health awareness guidance
- Follow-up for chronic illness cases inside the camp
- Distribution of child health supplies such as diapers and hygiene items
